ABOUT THE PAPER Printed on Ilford Cotton Textured, a museum-grade fine art paper with a pronounced, tactile surface. The rough texture isn't a flaw. It's the point.  Like the cracked walls in this image, the paper itself carries stories in its fibers. The texture holds the ink, catches the light, creates depth in the blacks. You can feel it when you touch it. Raw. Unpolished. Real. The same Ilford brand I used in art school, 1997. Different paper now, rough like everything changed. Not smooth anymore. Nothing is.
